our company has sponsored an employee for I485 but this employee is working for a different company since 2002 on h1

also one h1b employee is only working partime (abt 7 months in a year)..

PLS ADVISE..

From the scanty details that you had provided for case #1, I do not see anything illegal being done here.
For case #2, is the employee working on H1 or has a I485 pending too? Was part time work the employer's decision?
Please post more details such as time lines, EADs (if any) for each of the cases and the question as to what you want help on. Fellow members will be able to help you better.

employee 1 is still in h1 and applying for 485 but has been working for a different company since 2002..

employee 2 still working on h1 and will be applying for 485
