Not sure where my EAD application is, should i refile

My attorney mailed EAD application at wrong address (old address) and it had been about 25 days and USCIS has no idea where it is, it is not in there system.
Now attorney wants to file a new application electronically.

Any suggestions on what i should do?

What if i dont get approved EAD before current one expires

Yes you need to quickly Efile. As it is even with correctly sent EAd renewals it takes 3 weeks.

USCIS has said they will not redirect incorrectly addressed EAD applications, you best bet is to Efile, you will get a Receipt in 3 days and appointment for Fingerprint in 2 weeks.

Call the lawyer and ask him to efile asap.
