Not received 485 approval letter...

My 485 was approved on July 6th, but My attorney and I haven't received approval letter due to address change in the last month. Can I go for passport stamping without approval letter?

Yesterday I went for stamping without approval notice. Officer is really nice, and he looked at the case and he told me there is some information missing to process I 551. He went insdie and came back after couple of minutes and he told me that he took care of the issue and stamped the passport.
