I have been a derivative asylee since Sept 2009. I got divorced from my ex-wife, who was the principal asylee, in July 2010. I understand that I have to get Non Pro Tunc asylum status before applying for Green Card. Is it risky? How are the chances of my Non Pro Tunc application being denied or accepted? My ex-wife and I both came from the same country and we had separate affidavits although she files as principal petitioner.
