Guys,
I am looking for a good wireless provider in New Jersey (Central & North). Any company other than Verizon, that has good coverage, clarity and strong signal.
Verizon has them all but they don’t have good plans like some of the other ones.
Can anyone please suggest a provider?
Thanks in advance.

verizon suck.....poor Customer srvs

go for TMOBIL...I just luv it......good plans...great Cust. srvs....

Dont even think for verizon...They'll eat ur money

Tmobile not so good

I had tmobile for more than a year. They have good coverage about 20 miles vicinity from the city. I live in par-troy hills area and they are not so good out here. Have co-workers who complain that there is no coverage inside their house too. If more minutes is the only choice then Tmobile & ATT have good plans. But if coverage is your choice then Verizon..even though their rates are higher

Both AT&T and Tmobile are good. Just remember that they are now giving camera phones with 100-150 dollars cash back. So bargain well with them go to 2-3 (desi) shops..

Take service from one of these two service providers and if you are not satisfied then cancel the service in 2/3 days.

Verizon

I think nothing beats Verizon....I have had it for more than 6 yrs now, and quite frankly I would recommend it to anyone here.

Granted, they have service contracts, have higher rates and not the latest phones, but US coverage is excellent. I travel a lot, and have not found too many deadzones so far. Infact even in the middle of a lake or a forest (Lake George in NY and Monterey in CA), Verizon was the only phone that was working. In NYC, I think (and please correct me if I am wrong) Verizon is the only service that works in the tunnels (when using NJ Transit from Penn station).

Finally, as far as customer service is concerned, I havent had the need to talk to them for anything, so why worry about how good or bad they are !

Bottomline is that you want a cellphone to work when you want it to (particularly in emergency condition) and thats what you need to consider while going for a cellphone provider.

BTW I do not work for Verizon, and am not related to them in anyway...I just like their service and their coverage and am satisfied with the phone that I have !

Verizon sucks....sorry to say...but

when I moved into new apt - there was no service in-or-out the apt here in Hazlet, NJ - still I paid bcos I had to....then one month later after car accident I had to stay home bcos of fracture - one day LAN line was disrupted......I was out of the world for three days with no possible help/no access to even 911........I asked them "WHY WOULD I PAY for no service......" they said SERVICE is NOT guaranteed at all the place u move to........anyway.....they suggested me to upgrade ROAMING srvs -that way u can use all networks....so i did....they extended my contract without my knowledge.....I end up paying another yr(16 months in total...)........verizon is BLOOD SUCKER..............

Anyway----all services work in TUNNELs on NY...

take care....its ur money...save -it-or-looooose it
