NON-COMPUTER SCIENCE DEGREE AND Green Card

Hi Folks,

I hv non-CS degree:

1. Bachelor in Arts (3 years) + Masters (canada) both non CS.

2. But I have 5.5 years experience in US and also experience in India.

3. Non formal training certificates from training institutes and community colleges in US in software application applications.

4. Experience letters (very strong and detailed from all employers (amercan).

5. Educational evaluation from trustforte.com states that my education is equivalent to BS (CS) taking into consideration my work experience.

Can you tell me if it is good for GC on EB3 with an LC that says B.S in CS or engineering or equivalent experience ?

My question is, has any one experienced problem getting GC with a non-CS degree ??

if you have an approved LC, see whether it says that exp can be substituted for education. if it doesnt it wont work.

also if your exp is counted for edu equivalency, you need more exp to satisfy the no of yrs of exp on the LC.

please consult your lawyer on how to handle this.
