If anyone had success to sponser visitor visa to their sister or brother who is also working as a programmer??..

I want to bring my sister to USA on a visitor visa for a month or two strictly on tourism basis. But my sister is MCA and working as a programmer and not yet married.. My parents are back home and my sister is taking care of them. Do you think, if my sister applies for visitor visa for a month or two, would she be granted??..

Anyone, pls share your experience..

Given an age range of 15-45, I'd say a woman would stand a better chance of getting a visitor's visa than a male. But then you never know how they decide at the consulate. My aunt was denied visa two years ago (her brother, my uncle here, had sponsered for her visitor's visa) even though she had a government job.

Worth taking a chance but one thing to consider though, if she get's denied - this "might" work against her if she later wishes to come to the US on a work visa (since she being in a computer field)

Just my 2c of advise.
