I have a cleared I-140, when my company merged with some other company, the attorney filed an ammendment, this ammendment of the I-140 was also approved.
Now USCIS has come back and said that they revoked the first I-140 and so the I-485 is in NOID state.
Following is the reason given by them
""it has now come to the attention of this office that it appears that you wish to substitute another individual on the labor certification"
Mine is a labor substitution case. I talked to te attorney and she says that USCIS is under misconception that the ammended I-140 is for some other person other than me.
Any clues !!!!
