could you let me know why they transfered you to local office. May be i am asking a stupid question. But i was thinking if you changed job before 180? or some other reason.
i heard that INS never made rejection even something obviously wrong. They always let local office make decision.
Well Mulan Liu the problem is my husband changed jobs prior to 180 days. And in response to the RFE we had one less paycheck as he changed jobs again but started working with the other company with a 15 day gap. He went back to his original sponsoring company.
INS can refuse your application with an Intent to Deny letter based on your filing. Technically they send it usually (noticed from the board) in the case of an out of status case. If they don't understand your case properly as in my case which could lead to a denial they send it out for an interview.
Interview transfers are also done on a random basis rather than just because your filing as complicated.
Thank you for your reply. You seemed having done a lot of reseach and very knowlegable.
I'd like to have your opinion now.
my rd is 10/23/01. i changed job before 180. but i haven't got any REF yet. i am working on a new h1 for company B now. as i see in this forum, INS usually send REF in the early stage. since i am one of the bottom 20% unluck people in Oct RD. what do you think the chances are to get a REF?
i konw nothing is guranteed but is it true that most of REF was issued in the early stage?
