NOA and EAD timelines for a spouse of a citizen?

I am planning to send the application for my wife (I-485, EAD and AP) shortly after my oath. The key dates that I want to get a guestimate on are - the one where we get NOA and when EAD gets approved.

Any data would be useful.

It took us a week and a half to get the receipt notice after we mailed the application packet in. My wife had her application support center appointment a month after we filed. We received our interview letter about 3 weeks later. Had the interview about a month later. Total time between mailing the paperwork to Chicago and receiving an approval is 82 days.

We didn't apply for the EAD but others on the board got them in about two to two and half months (shortly before the interview). The law states an EAD must be issued within 90 days of the date the application was received. However, that can start over if you where missing evidence in your initial application packet.

Oh, don't forget to include form G-1145. It ask the lockbox to email/text you when they accept your application. The email will have your receipt numbers. The emails I received from the lockbox was sent at the same time the official receipt notices where mailed from Chicago.

I think everyone should include G-1145 with any application sent to a lockbox. It just ask for your name, email address, and/or cell phone number.

An accepted application doesn't mean a complete application. If you are missing the payment or a signature the your application will be rejected and sent back to you without getting a receipt. If you are missing required evidence or even a supplemental form (such as I-693 Medical) then your application more then likely will get accepted and a receipt number but you will receive an Request for Evidence for the missing stuff.
