No valid dates on AP !!!!

Hello,
I recently received my AP travel document, but the Valid dates are: " //199". As you can see, this is typo.

I do have to travel to india next month. What is the fastest way to fix this.
I don't want to take the risk of travelling with this:

1. Send docs back to INS.
2. Go to canada / outside consulate.
3. Try to battle over the phone with USCIS?


Any responses are appreciated.

Schedule an INFOPASS appointment as soon as you can, that's what I would do. Particularly if you live close to a USCIS office.

No info pass required

My Wife had the same problem. Her AP had junk dates.
We contacted USCIS (phone) and were advised that taking info pass will not help at all. Infact we were advised to reapply with the whole application once again.
Here's what I did:
1. Drafted a letter detailing what the problem was and explaining that this was error at USCIS end and hence they should consider reissuing a new AP.
2. Just to be on safe side, I sent in another application for AP WITHOUT check.
3. i sent it by USPS(with tracking number for future reference).
4. The AP got approved on the next day it reached USCIS (came to know thru status change online that it was approve again)
4. Believe it or not, the approving office went extra step ahead and sent the document in a nice file with overnight DHL shipping. I received the corrected AP the next day.
