No USCIS receipt even after one month

My lawyer said he has filed I140, EAD,AP and AOS a month ago but I haven't received any acknowledgment letter or anything like that for them yet. Does anyone know how long does it take to get the acknowledgement letter of the applications for each of them?
 
My I-140 was sent in 2 weeks ago, but no receipt notice. Lawyer says there is a bottleneck at the receipt notice stage for some reason.

My check has been cashed, and I was able to get the receipt number off the back of the check and check status online, so I'm not to worried about the actual receipt.
 
I checked with my lawyer and he says even the check is still not cashed by USCIS till now? Is it possible or is there something wrong?
