No update since the application was filed

Hi,

I filed my I-485 under EB2 category to TSC on Feb'07 and got rejected due to the attorney forgot to sign the check. The application was re-filed and I got the receipt with notice date 03/21/2007 and receipt date UNKNOWN. Until now I cannot check my case online becasue the receipt number is not recognized and haven't received finger print notice. I called 1-800 number 2 times and talked to the officers. They said my case is pending and it's normal that I haven't received any finger print notice.

Is anyone out there has similar case or have any suggestions on what can be done to get my case moving?

FYI. My I-140 was filed in December 2006 and approved in January 2007.

contact the ombudsman. He certainly helps you out in these situations.

Just mention that , YOu are not able to track the status./
 
JesusIsMyLord, Thanks for your suggestion. Could you please let me know if I should sent any documents together with DHS form 7001 and copy of receipt notice to the ombudsman?

I mailed Ombudsman last week requesting assistance on my case and today I can see my case online. A woman from TSC called my attorney this morning to ask about my case and sending a RFE. She would also issue biometric notices for me and my family since we haven't done any yet.

The attorney told me that background check has not been completed so I believe it's still looooooong way to go, but I'm really glad that my case is finally moving.
