No update since I filed for 485. PLEASE HELP!

Hi all,
I filed my 485 in Nov 2002. The LUD for my case still is Nov 2002 even though I got my FP in Jan 03 and submitted it the same month.
I have not got a 2nd FP or anything else since then. Niether has my case moved or been updated since Nov 2002.
Do you think something is amiss here or is this just a simple case of something which has not been worked upon yet?
Please help.

I don't see anything to worry here.
Have you been able to extend your EAD/AP, if any?
 
None of the drastic things you have suggested. The answer is simple inefficiency. If you had bothered to search the forums, you would have noticed that there are tons of people like you (us) on the forum.

did you contact FBI after your first FP? Did they say that they sent results to INS? If so, your due deligence is done.
 
Yes, I did and they said they sent the FP to INS. So I did that..but now people around me who applied with me have gotten their GCs while I am just sitting around.
This randomness is so frustrating: :confused:

:D Is this true with your ND Nov 2002? The JIT is June 2002 and there are people around you with NDs in 2001. You are almost there. May be another 6 months. Hold on.

There are lot of folks with the same status as yours... so, don't get upset. Someday we will also get approved... so cheer up, buddy

May be rkgc may get before us, as he is a concurrent and has applied in 2003 :p

I guess I panicked coz I saw that my LUD was still Nov 02 which means no one has touched my case yet!
Anyways...what is in my hands anyways..
