No status-change after our Response the RFE..

I am a silent watcher in these forums for a long long time. Here is my situation:
CIS issued RFE on 12/04/04 and we received it on 12/15/04. Our RFE details:
1. Varicella (excuse any typo) vaccination for me.
2. Missing vaccinations and secondary evidence for my wife's DOB.
and
3. Our marriage certificate for my Son.
We sent (so my Attorney says) our replies on 01/03/05. But as of this moment, there is no status change in our cases. It still shows "0n 12/04, we asked for more..(or something like that)...blah..blah..".
Is it something common, or is it that our resonses didn't reach CIS at all?

Any input from the Gurus is highly appreciated. Spending lot of sleepless night of late (God damn it! when will this end????). I ahve no clue what to do. My Attorney is a real pain in (no comments..)...

My case info:
PD: 10/18/2001
ND:02/26/2003
FP1: 03/08/04 (yes '04).
RFE:12/04

it normally takes a week or so for them to change the status. Check with your attorney if the pkg has reached. Most attorneys send it by certified mail .

Some times USCIS does not change status even after 485 is approved. Have you checked the LUD (Last Update Date) on your application? If not, then you can do so by logging on to USCIS's status checking web site and create a login for you. Add your wife and son's cases along with your own to your portfolio. You can then see what the LUD was. If USCIS has touched your file, you will see it in the LUD. Sunce your PD is in 2001, you won't be affected by the PD retrogression.

If you knew all these, I'm sorry to waste your time. Good luck.

I did all that. I received status change mails for all previous changes like EAD etc. But strangely enough, there was no status update after the Finger prints too. I was quite worried about Finger prints until we received the RFE's. Now, this is new issue to worry about (as if CIS doesn't want me to be worry-free). Talked today to my Attorney and asked her to contact the IIO. I will post the details once she gets back to me.

There might not be a status update after FP. For my spouse, the only status update was when they sent us the FP notice and then straight for the approval. (nothing for FP sent or my RFE).

Status changed yesterday evening to "Received info on Jan.20". Attorney goofed up in sending a big bunch of cases together in one package and after she called CIS, it took 2 days for this update. Lost more than 15 days for her mistake. Now, hope that approval would come soon...
