Called IIo today after more than a month, last time I was told that the case is assigned to an office, called this time the IIO said well you should not have been told that and that can STILL means you can expect 2 to 6 MONTHS for processing, as the officer may have 150 files to go through.

This whole thing is making me sick, spoke to my lawyer about this and he told me that he is too is helpless, asked him if I should conectact some local senator etc he said they may not be of much help for 85 related cases as that is a general backlog.

What are we supposed to do then, get laid off after some time and then expect RFE for paystubs, that is how I think ti really works...............

I spoke to IIO two weeks ago and she told me that my case was under review since Feb 24th, still waiting to hear something from them.

I think so, but I am not sure about this.
Others on this forum may have better understanding of this. Posting a new thread may have some one explain it.
 
do you think that you have issues?

i am just wondering if there is a possible reason that you guys could think of for delaying? for example: you changed job and a new H1 sitting on your file? And you are working with a relatively very small company, ect?

i think that is the reason that i haven't gotten my approval yet!
