I applied for the I-130 and I-485 in September last year 2004 and I received the receipts from the USCIS dated October 2004.
Thereafter nothing has been updated on the case status online or by mail.
Repeated phonecalls to the 1-800 number has made no difference at all.
The USCIS has made no efforts at all to process the case any further nor have
they given any updates as of yet.
My EAD is about to expire in another 120 days.
Is the normal ?
Can one do anything about it?
If I call the USCIS all one can hear is a pre-recorded voice telling me the same thing that I can read online on my case status online.
Please advise any actions that could proove usefull.
