485 filed in Sep 2002. Belive to be struck in name check.

Dec 2004 is when the processing date has crossed my application date. So I used to be able to request for case enquiry once a month and I used to get useless results back in the form of a letter at home.

But lately, last 2 months, I have put enquiry twice but I don't get any response back. I don't know whats hapening.

Anybody has any clue?

It may be bestter if you get congressman to enquire on your behalf

The tend to get response after 30 days

In my sons case congressman did not get a reply within 30 days so sent a second enquiry and got a response within the second lot of 30 days

Or ask attorney to do it for you

They get thousands a week!!!!!!! so would not be surprised if they had a backlog

Follow the Advise Susan posted.

Also try to talk with TSc directly to learn more where ur case file has stucked
instead assuming that u stuck in name check.

to connect/speak direclty TSC

Use 800 Customer care, then follow the option to check ur status by phone.
after listening status, select more option. and select 'You have filed Multiple appliciaons' that would connect to TSc. where usually a nice lady answer the call, she is very cooperative, just be nice. low tone, no sign of anger , smile. u would learn more than u ask.

Good Luck

Susan,

Was the response informative and/or helpful?

Hi

Neither

The responce was same as case status on line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The message said

# On 11th Aug the appropriate consulate or port of entry was notified of approval of this case by fax/cable or phone#

The consulate never received this approval so my congressman requested they re-send info

So

Congressman contacted London to ask them to contact TSC for confirmation of approval.

Now

London is asking DOS for an advisory opinion on sons case #is son protected under CSPA#

The e-mail from London was sent to DOS on 29th April 2005 and still waiting a reply from DOS/London

In the meantime son (Who is follow to join) is stuck in home country on his own whilst rest of family reside in US

What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!
