no receipt?

Hi all,

I sent in the N-400 in June to VSC, but do not receive any receipt notification. But I did get a finger print letter for September 5th. It also gave me the application number. So I checked online status. It says a receipt letter was sent to me, which I did not get.

Should I be concerned?

you can check if the check was cashed or not. Did you go for finger prints on Sept5th?. Which local office you belong to. Normally you should receive the receipt before fingerprints notice. When we applied my wife's receipt was lost in the mail.

I recommend you call INS and request to send you another copy. For any correspondence, INS preferably requires you to attach a copy of the receipt and it is always good to have a copy for your records.

Other than that, you should not be too much concerned about it.
