No Receipt Number for I-485

My attorney filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently back in July 2006. Texas Service centre provided receipt number for I-140 only then. I got approval email for I-140 on February 16, 2007 but attorney have not received approval document yet.

My question is when we will be getting receipt number for I-485 ?
Will it be enclosed in with I-140 approval document we execpting ?

I am in the same boat as you. My attorney received the receipt notification through email for I-140 but not for other applications I-485/I-131/I-765; I am not sure if this is normal procedure.

Note that I sent my applications last week and I-140 was applied through premium processing. Can you confirm that your I-140 was NOT premium?

My I-140 processing was not premium. But i donot know when i going to get I-485 receipt number.
 
In fact use this as an excuse to contact them through one of your lawmakers from your region; It will not only help track where your papers are, but it will probably help expedite your case!
