No progress after 3yrs waiting on 485

Hi All,

Would like to have some suggestion on what I hsould do. I have filed I485 for three years(04/2002) and had two finger prints already. The last finger prints was done on 06/2004. As of today, I still have not get anything from CIS. I have done three inquiries in the past and the responses are all the same -- case is pending or doing background check. Does anyone out there know what can I do or what's the possible cause of such a long long process?
