i would request that all groups like immigrationvoice.com and isnamerica.org ......should not try using political tactics.....they should be as straightforward as possible..

one more warning to scammmer who think they are smart and make people donate and then misuse the money.........ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN......no one is going to donate unless he feels confident about the organization and its leaders....

i am not trying to say that any one may be scamming right now........but i just want to make sure that we are not taken for a ride.......the last thing we want right now is broken trust.....

so people before you make a donation....make sure you know the people with whom you are dealing.....

i am looking forward to complete transperancy and no politics.....and also some long term planning....right now we are too short sighted...

but i am very positive that after a year.....our numbers will be close to 300k......we are hardly few hundreds today.....but that is because we are just waking up....

so guys hang on and keep thinking...

You see he will not disclose his identity, email or phone to any organizers or volunteers of any websites so that we can contact him and explain that the funds collected are NON-PROFIT and TRANSPARENT.

When we say that, he wont listen. He does not want to listen to anyone and just keep crying "SCAM"...."SCAM" etc.

Techy, one thing. If you are real and one of us...affected by retrogression, I dare you to send a private message to immigrationvoice.org volunteer or moderator, have your identity disclosed like all volunteers at immigrationvoice.org and work with us.

Otherwise you are just a heckler who is probably not even affected by retrogression and obtaining some kind of sick pleasure from the plight of others.

come on guys...dont adopt the policy...."if you are not with me, you are my enemy"...

to tell you the fact...i started my GC process just this month....and i still have 4 years on my H1.....and i am also processing australian PR.....

so its not a big priority for me to dedicate a lot of time.....i will definitely do more in future....but till then i will be simply talking big...pardon me for that...
 
Well, I understand that you may not care much about retrogression for now as you have still 4 years left on H1B and it may not have blocked your career/life and made your life misreable for now - but this is not the case for most of the people here. Eventually you will care in future as 4 years will pass in blink of eyes and you will face same retrogression unless something is done RIGHT NOW...

But in any case, at least you have no right to put doubt without knowing the facts and discourage people who are seriously sacrificing their own time .

Whats problem with you, you don't have to explain people to think about anything. They are smart and thats why they are here. People know what to do and what not to do. If you cannot contribute please stop posting such things.

Please do not waste your time replying for Techy's messages. Looks like he is doing some time pass, as he said he has 4 years on H1 and he is not very interested into this effort.

hey guys once again....offense does not buy one anything.....we dont have to be personal....

i may have 4 years....but my life is hell becuase i am on H1....becos i cannot make my career grow(becos i cannot choose where i want to work and what i want to work).....becos i have to feed two middlemen even to get a contract with a client.......becos i need a sponsor all the time......

We need to trust someone otherwise life can not continue. Didnt you trust your employer when you came to this country? Just donate some money and farget it. I will also do the same over the weekend. THese guys are also one among us. ATleats they are spenmding their valuable time in public cause which we are not doing. Since we can not devote much time let us contribute whatever way we can.

Max what will happen (i [to god it should not happen) is lobbying effort will not yield any result. We all have spent many times did you spent $50+ for dinner or in Bar. Do you ever think that money was wasted. But that does not mean we should not try. ..

Request for you if you do not want to contribute, fair enough no one will force you. But atleast do not stop others.

I have sent a very detailed email to you explaining how we plan to increase transparency into our actions. I have also given you my phone number and told you that if you need any more clarifications please feel free to call.

You have still not called me. You have not attended any of our conference calls. You have not contributed a penny to the cause. You still want to cause as much ruckus as possible by starting a thread with SCAM in the title and directly mentioning ImmigrationVoice.org in it. You have started a thread in IV forum saying that we don't need lobbyist. So many of the genuine volunteers have had to spend time responding to your threads instead of working on real issues.

All of your actions have led me to believe that you are one of those middlemen, who is out to make sure that the actions of ImmigrationVoice fail. Please go away, the users of this forum are much more intelligent to see through this.

Again, if you are genuinely interested in clarifications, call me before making another accusation in this forum.
 
guys...you are being so aggressive on a public forum....because i differ......what shall i expect when i call you??......all i can see is that you just want to rush into something and do it.....i am sorry but the emotions are running too high with these actvities.......

you guys are very frustrated and angry becos you had to suffer.....and so you want to do something using all you energy...if someone is going to suggest a deviation or an alternate plan.....or to cool off.....you are not going to like it..

Yes. I am frustrated.

I am frustrated at people who claim that to suggest a deviation to a plan, you have to call that plan a scam.

I am frustrated at people who openly claim that ending retrogression is good for themselves, but they will not do anything constructive to end it. They just want other people to do the work for them. In their own words "i will definitely do more in future....but till then i will be simply talking big"

I am frustrated at people who say that they want more transparency but are not willing to even make a simple phone call to gain that transparency.

I am frustrated at people who want straight forwardedness but are any thing but straight forward about their own intentions.
 
i think i should define my intentions.....

right now i am not actively involved with immigrationvoice because it involves too much effort from very few people..........i am not sure i can commit so much effort..

at the same time...i do not have confidence in the plan........the core problem right now is "less participation" by affected people.........if we can make active membership close to 10k .....we may be able to do something...
