No Plastic Card for 5 Months. What is Happening?

Guys:

I have seen people who are waiting for more than
5 months for plastic card after being stamped
on their passport about 5 months ago from VSc
Center. What is happening? I am waiting for
2 months. The message still does not change.
It still says my case is transferred.
How long?

I read someone\'s posting on this forum that the department handling printing the cards is severly backlogged. May be it is due to that? I think they are going by PD, ND crap for that too (JUST KIDDING!!)

It could take then 13 months to get the
card since the grant of GC

I just recvd. my G.C Card two days ago , exactly two months after stamping at Newark,NJ . Stampind done on 10/19/00.
