No online status on the uscis web site

Hi,
I tried to check online status on the USCIS web site and I get --

validation error
Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application.

This has been happening since I got my receipt for N-400 filing.
Anybody else has a similar experience.

As far as I can tell, the online status tool is not a reliable resource. There have been many cases reported wherein the applicant was not able to find his/her case on the web site or the case once appeared and then disappeared. However, in almost all of those cases the actual case proceeded in its normal course and the applicant got approved in the regular way.

So, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much as long as your case is progressing which appears to be the case since you got your application receipt notice and then your FP notice, etc.
 
My case never showed up on the USCIS web site. I've got the same error when I entered my ESC number.

ID - 07/18/06 (2pm) passed interivew
Oath - 07/19/06 in Merrifield, VA
