No news for EAD over 4month

I received My I-140 approval notice 6 month ago(but online case status not updated). Here is my current problem: I filed EAD back in July, but no response from Vermont saying approval yet. I went to local office to get an interim EAD but local officer said an hold has been issued for my 485 on Nov. 2002. So they did not give my EAD. They told us contact Vermont to ask why a hold is there on my 485, and I did so. but still no response from Vermont for over 1 month. I desperately need EAD. I know I did not do anything illegal. Please give me some advice. Can I go to Vermont to ask them directly? I even do not know if VSC accept custmer visit. Thanks

I don't know I may be missing something here.... But how can you have problems on your 485 in Nov 2002 when your I-140 was only approved 6 months ago ?
 
yes, VSC did this. THat is what I been told by 2 different Baltimore district officers 2 times when I went to there to get interim EAD. Please help!
 
Talk to your local congress man. Don't waste time in trying to get help from VSC or your local BCIS office. They are not going to help us. I am telling this based on my recent experience. VSC or BCIS only listens to congress men. Since your case is a genuine one, VSC is bound to answer to congress men. Once your congress man submits the request, Keep following up with your congress man's office about the status.
 
Thank u all for your kindness and suggestions. I did contacted congress man's office, and I was told by them some officer picked my case 10 days ago, but online case status is still not changed. I guess congressman's help is our last hope, and I do not want them feel bothered. So I will wait longer and contact them again. Is anybody out there ever met similar situation?

My I-140 case is NIW self-filed. Got approved on May, 2003. No job change at all. here is the detail:

Mine is not 4 months but AP is pending for 80 days now ans so is EAD, these people are totally useless and just come to job to do nothing....

I have my ticket in hand and so far no AP, these people should be sued for their fu**** attitude, first they were f** for 485 and now for these applications too, one tries to take break and these people want you to rot in this F**** system...


I have to reschedule everything and say goodbey to my vacation....
 
Point to be noted so far I haven't heard anybody's 3rd EAD, AP approved. Mine too is pending for almost 70 days. Are these guys feeling ashamed to clear our 3rd EAD, APs
