No more Special Registration

At one point there were rumours that more countries would be added to the list, good thing they scrapped it altogether. It was a meaningless effort to begin with.

good one

This is a good news. Atleast started to move in the right direction. All they need to do is put some manpower on the EB cases. I know it's kinda wishful thinking but hoping they'd.

Cheers!

This is excellend news. A lot of manpower was devoted to processing NSEERs registration. They had officers at every single branch office to register people, and this slowed down adjudications of all cases particularly I485s. Things may not pick up, but they shouldn't slow down because of this.

Intersting how this meaningless task was scrapped once Immigration was taken out of Ashcroft's hands. They ended up registering over a quarter million men. It yielded a tremendous amount of data but no useful information.

Wonder

Wonder when's this trial and error learning system will end in USCIS or BCIS or INS (or whatever it is that they claim they are). I think the top brass should be regular vistors to forums like these and that would save them all the time in the world. They'd be able to know right things to do with no research investment :). But may be that's just me.. cuz I'm reallly sick of their processing (I know most of you are too!).

Their motto should be to learn from people who have been there and done that.. .:) hahah

Cheers!

So that means while traveling out side of USA using AP, we don't need to register any more, right?

I will be traveling on 7th December, do I have to register anymore?
Thanks!

Have been waiting...

I think you would still have to register while going out of the country and coming back in. But you would not have to let the INS know when you are in the US.

Cheers!
