Hi Guys,
My lawyer today told me that USCIC has withdrawn premium processing for EB-1 category. I am totally surprised.
Any comments.
Thanks.
Regards,
Shekhar.

This happened last year, in July, because of the anticipated flood of applications after the July 2007 visa bulletin fiasco. This is not news, and it is not known when or if USCIS will reinstate PP at some point in the future.

Sands GC mentioned only EB1 category. It is actually suspended for all employmwnt based categories.
Hi jk0274,
Please let me know how long it take to get EAD and AP. My RD is 7 Nov 2007 (EB1 OR, concurrent filing). There is know LUD in EAD and AP. I know its not the right place to ask this question but your experience could really help me.
Thanks

Normally between 2-3 months (Texas closer to 2, Nebraska closer to 3), AP is normally a bit later (1-2 weeks) than EAD. If you just saw a LUD on your case and you are already beyond 2 months, that may be a sign that it will be approved in the next few days. I saw an LUD on my last EAD 4 days before I got an approval email.

Did you mean "there is now LUD" or "there is no LUD"?

Hi Guys, Thanks a lot for the update. Forgive my ignorance.

Another quick question is "Does it not matter if we are applying by EB-1-1 (EA), EB-1-2 (OR) , etc. and that all the categories have been combined into EB-1."

Comments are Welcome.
Thanks.
Regards,
SandS.
