Guys... after my case was approved and waiting for the I-130 to get approved, I am still stuck with checking the uscis 10 times aday although I have the email on where I can receive the updates to my email.

I called USCIS and they said they will send me an update within 30 to 45 days, but how come my status was not updated yet??

I live in Holland, MI and I am 3 1/2 hours far from the District Office. So, making an info pass and flying over there and coming back is not a fun thing for me because they are not helpful at all in info pass in Detroit.

I don't care about the green card for now, all what I care about is goinv over seas on December and my I-131 was not approved yet and they didn't send me an REF for the two pictures that I forgot to submit with my form....

Any suggestions other than playing the waiting time game????:mad:
 
I thought the IO said you will have the GC by the time you travel?!
I read some people were able to get in touch with the IOs that take care of their cases over the phone for info.

He said so... but do you think I believe all what they say??? He said California Service center usually respond back to emails on the same day, and it has been now more than a week.

I forgot the Officer's last name. I still remember his first name only....
That was so stupid from me not writing his last name down.

I know about this trust issue.
Not having the last name doens't help on my suggestion... Well, if I think of anything else I'll let you know.
 
I just remembered somthing now.
On the Interview Letter, we have the Last name of the officer who interviewed us.
But how can I get in contact with him Chocolat??? or how can that help!!
