No LUD change since filing I-485 on Aug 06

Hi,

I have a question, if someone can answer please.

I filed I-485 on Aug 17, 2006 with NSC.The only LUD posted on my case status is Aug 19, 2006. I have not received any letter/ e mail for additional evidence etc.

Does it mean any delay or it is normal time line. Should I call them or just wait?

Reports have shown that Uscis is the most unconsistent, non reliable Department of all the US agencies. I know of people who got approved within 2 months in (2006), while some others have been waiting over 2 years since (2004). Name check, FBI Check all that are excuses to cover their incapability, and weakness.
Being approved within 6 months is matter of chance.
Shame on USCIS.

AGREED,MOSTLY OFFICERS ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB.

I had no LUD's at all between filing and approval. At a time I was also concerned with it, so my lawyer then said it's normal.
