No LUD change after FPs.....

We don't see any LUD changes on both of our cases after the FP on April 14th. We would take a trip back home for 1 month in June, with AP, things would get tricky and sticky if our 485s are approved when we are abroad. Although I doubt it could happen, it is still a concern.....
Anyone on the same boat, waiting for the updates of 485?

LUD changes after FP are not guaranteed. A lot of people have never seen any LUD changes after getting their FPs done. The only time their LUD changed was when they got approved. So do not worry about the LUD change.

Regarding getting approved while you are abroad. It is not a problem. They will let you in on your AP or any other visa. However when you get to the immigrations in the US, they will take you aside and have a small interview to make sure everything is in order.

The problem really arises if you get approved a few days before you leave. At that point it is not advisable to travel until you have your passport stamped. The reasoning is that you were still in the country when your applicaton was approved and left without getting the passport stamped. They will consider the application abandoned at that point.

I am in a similar situation and am hoping that I either get approved after I get back or soon enough to get the PP stamped.

LUD updated after FP

I did my FP in Charlotte on May 06 and this morning saw that my LUD for 485 was updated to May 07. Does that mean that FBI has sent the response back to USCIS and everything checks out ? I did not receive any email from USCIS inspite of the LUD change, just seems strange. Anyone seen the same before ?

Same here. LUD on 485 changed twice, but the message remained the same.
No mail from USCIS.
