No LUD after 2nd FP ---Is it usual ?

My PD is not current now. I have done code 3 FP with in one month of my 485 submission. There was a LUD for two days after initial FP. It happened about 2 years back. Recently (a month ago), we have done code 1 FP. However, there is no LUD in my and my spouse's 485.

When I called FBI they told me that the results of FP was sent to USCIS on same day. However, there is no LUD. The last LUD is about 1 year back, when they received my reply for RFE.

Should I call them to verify, if they received my results of FP? My case is at NSC.

Same boat

I am on the same boat as you are. Me and my wife went to FP code 1 recently but no change in status so far. I will wait a little more and give a call to USCIS. Are you sure u called FBI for FP status (as your thread says) ?

Same here.. I did not get any LUDs after our 2nd FP. We got LUDs for two or three days after our first FP.

But did you get any LUDs when the 2nd FP notice was issued?

I got one LUD few days after the post mark date on FP notice

Me too. Gave 2 FP code 1 on 5/5 no LUD yet. Frustrating No LUD even for the date the FP notice was issues. Last LUD was on 3/15 when the case got transferred to TSC

USCIS ways

Relying on USCIS and their 1-800 services is as risky as riding a shark in deep sea..

Anyway, I was worried because I didnt get the FP code 1 notice(second one code 3, first was completed in october 6th,05 for me and my spouse on the same day) while my wife did. She completed her finger printing procedures on 04/11/07 however no LUD changes till date..


Now, I waited for 4 weeks and contacted my lawyer on 05/03/07. They called up the USCIS offices to find out why I didnt get the FP notice even though I am the primary one. Got the reply that "Everything is normal. Since I completed the procedure in oct 05, I dont need to worry..". This left me baffled because "My spouse too completed it in oct 05.. " and either we both should get the second notice or we both should NOT. Anyway.. such are USCIS ways..

2 Days later, I have my FP notice in the mailbox and my lawyer who called USCIS also gets a copy.. It was mailed 4 days before my lawyer called up.. So conclusion is - 1-800 service rep didnt know even that a notice has been mailed .. and is just a sheer waste.. they are just supposed to provide 'sic' answers to desperate people and close the call.

BTW, my ND for FP-code 1 was 04/30/07 and appointment date 05/11/07(today). Both of these dates are exactly 1 month apart from the dates my spouce had on her notice..

NO LUDs yet ..
