No Interim EAD, What if current expires & appln not pending

My wife went to Local INS Baltimore, asking for interim EAD, they said we no long issue and gave me the New Memo.

Its been 85 days since she filed her EAD application with VSC? Her Current card is going to expire in about a week. what are the options if VSC does not appove in the next 5 days,

if there is no option of interim EAD, what to do ???
