Hello guys,
I am just wondering if someone had the same thing I had...
I applied for adjustment of status and submitted my I-485 to a local USCIS office in 2003. I did not get any receipt notice at all even my lawyer did not.
After a while I called the #800 customer service and they only gave me a receipt number that starts with EAC which is for I-181 "CREATION OF RECORD OF LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENCE" but I don't have a receipt for the actual I-485
Are they the same or is my I-181 all I need....
