No help from local Immigration office

EB3- Employment based
I 140 -approved
I 485 -Sept. 2003
Figerprint Code 1, 2 and 3 - Done!

I went to the local Immigration office and asked them if my namecheck was clear or not? they told me they do not know anything??
Is it truee..?
I don't belive that
Should i contact my Congressman???

I think so, when I went Detroit office, she simple checked the online status (which we used to login and see) and she told that my name check is pending. I cannot believe this. It's been 3.5 years since I filed my 485, how could be? They do not have access to service center office.
