Here is my history:
Was in USA on F-1 from 1994-1996. Worked on H-1B from 1997-2003. Applied for Green Card in 2000, I-140 approved in 2002. Was let go of the company, but the company said they would not revoke the green card application.
Left US in 2003. Came back on F-1 in August 2005 to complete my MBA. OPT approved for June 2007-2008. Joined a new company on June 1, 2007. The company has applied for H1-B under Masters quota on April 3, 2007 but no approval or denial notice so far.
I have a couple of questions:
What are my options to remain in the US after OPT expires? Can the new company apply for a new green card even though I am on OPT and can take advantage of the previous priority date?
