No FP requried for EAD

I spoke to anIO yesterday and she told me that no FP is required for an EAD if I've already sent in the passport photograph when I mailed in the documents to the service center.
I asked her yesterday as to whenI would receive the FP for my EAD request when she told me this information.
Have any of you heard this before?

FYI my ND for my 4th EAD request is June 10th.
 
EADs that are paper-filed (you send the application in the mail with your photos and other evidence) normally do not require fingerprint appointments. Only if you electronically file your application over the internet will you be called for fingerprints. This is pretty standard.
