No FP on EAD Card

Finally I recd the EAD card (approved on 05/09) yesterday after waiting for 5 months (ND 01/01).

Infact, we had our FP done at SJC ASC at 03/21. Firstly, I confirmed from FBI that FP was given to CSC. Later I also confirmed from CSC IIO that FP is recorded into their system.

Why on EAD card it is mentioned that "FP not available"? Is this normal? Do I again take up this with IIO?

Please suggest.

You don\'t have to worry about it. The finger printing on EAD is
optional and has nothing to do with the FP that you took for I485. They
used to require FP for EAD earlier but they don\'t care about it
anymore. This is normal.

I have a question about your EAD approval. You mentioned that your EAD
card was approved on 05/09 and you received the card on 05/15. My case
is similar in that the AVM for my EAD says:

"after approving your case on 05/09, we have requested for a new EAD
card to be printed....."

And I ma still waiting for the card in mail. Did you have a similar
message in the AVM? I thought it takes about 2-3 weeks for them to
print the card. Please give details.
