no FP needed!!??

I would not trust what they say. She might have meant EAD cause she heard employement. Two 800 rep once told a friend that his 485 is approved because of line status message "on so and so date the document based on the registration or approval of this case was sent blah blah blah", the two reps never saw the message before and just assumed it means approval.
FP is definitly required for I-485

There are few rare occasions that have reported in this forum where applicants getting I485 approved without finger print. However the norm is to get FP.

USCIS has highly knowledgable non-outsourced (in-sourced?) customer service representatives, who can't make any mistake. My guess is she might be a part-time astrologist.

They told me on three diffrent ocassions the FP is not must in employment based 485 and that message I also got few days back.

and I called three diffrent days, got three diffrent reps, but the same
answer : your green card is in the mail.

I have not recieved any letter from them yet, I don't think even God
knows what is going on.

These reps are not trained in any immigration policies. All they can do is read out the information you see on line.
OK they are trained to tell you...to wait 30 days before calling back...
