Hi,

I have filled my I-140 /485 on Feb 02 2005, but still have not received the fingerprint.

My PD : sometime in 2001
I -140/485 RD : 02/02/2005
I-140 APD : 04/15/2005
I-485 - ????
No FP Notice yet

Pl. share ur experience about receiving FP Notice... Any idea about the approx time it takes in TSC to receive ur FP ??
 
Don't worry about it, you would get soon.

FP is Auto procedure depends on state to state and ASC current burden of processing.

Many ppl waited even 2+ yrs to get FP. Becz FP is expired every 14/15 months and Service centers are in backlogs they are trying to avoid dupicate / redone FP situation thats why when ur application is near to Adjudicate process, they issue FP notice to avoid ur file to wait that helps reduce their backlogs. usually FP result take couple of days mostly same day return.

Don't worry and be patient it would come.

Call TSC

I was in similar situation. I saw FP receipt details in this forum from applicants in my 485 RD range.

So, I called TSC and spoke to their representative. As per his inputs, my background (?) check was completed. He was surprised to notice that my FP wasn't issued yet. So, he flagged (or something similar) my case for FP and said that I will get it in 4-6 weeks.

I did receive FP scheduled for Aug 4th, Charlotte, NC.

INS might have a automated job that picks up cases flagged for FP.

Yesterday only I have received my fingerprint notice. The fingerprint notice code is 1, I have seen most of the people get with Code 3.

My code is 1(biometirc), is it because my EAD is already approved, or later on in the processing stage they wiil be asking for fingerprint to be done using Code 3.
