No concurrent I-140 and I-485

Hello Dear Friends - Quick question ! My company has filed for my I-140, I got ther receipt no for that. But they are filing for concurrent filing. Yes, they are not filing for my I-485. So there anyway I can start my I-485?? Any idea? You opinion will help me. Thanks,

Yes, this is right that you can file I-485 on your own (as rk said). But if your employer is not allowing you to do it, then it will be risky to go for it since your I-140 is not cleared yet. In that case, if employer comes to know, they may retract your I-140 and that will mess up the whole thing. I am also at the same boat and don't know any other way but to wait for I-140 to get cleared.
