No client letter- please suggest!!!!!

I have to go for H1 stamping at Mumbai consulate and my client has refused to give me a client letter saying it is against their policy.

Can someone please tell me if email communications that I have with my manager and colleagues at the client will be
sufficient to provide at the consulate?

If the Vo asks for client letter, since I did not get any because of client policy, how can I convince them about my situation?

Has anyone been in this situation?

Please suggest.
 
I think you must be talking abt consultancy. Generally VO may ask for a letter from employer confirming that they have a job for you. Such letter may be required both at the consulate and POE.

So, if the client is not giving a letter, you might have to be prepared for the above situation. It may be easier to convince your client than VO or CBP official at the POE.
