No California Resident Filers

Hello All

This is my thinking. I may be wrong. Infact I wish i am wrong. CSC is giving preference to those people who have their residence in CA rather than elsewhere. There are certain people who file in CSC because their consulting companies are based on California and the clients are elsewhere in the country. (I belong to that category)

Please comment your thoughts on this.

Thanks

Why would they do that?

What do they gain? That only add to thier burden of searching and sorting out CA residents!!

Also a personal question. Did you provide a CA address or your current address? I am in the same category but I provided a valid CA address (as suggested by my lawyer) and where I have access to the mails I get. (Not PO BOX) Things are going fine for me, so far.

i dont think that\'s true

first of all no reason to do so .. and secondly I stay in Phoenix and I have seen many cases including mine processed fairly quickly.

I think I agree with you gcard..!! read on..

My employer is based in California but my Client is in Oklahoma since almost 4 yrs.. Oklahoma is not in CSC

I am in 01-270 series.. still no sign of aprroval or RFE or anything..?? I cannot even get hold of an IIO any time I call..

So this makes me think that peopple who are not in CSC area might take more time for the background checks..??
