No Biometrics Appt Letter

I filed for I-765 along with my I-485 & I-131 with recepit date notices of November 15, 2005. It has been 2 months now and I just got my AP yesterday in the mail. That was great, but I am a little worried about my EAD. According to the NBC processing times they are processing cases dated November 18, 2005. But mine is on the 15th, how could they be processing ones dated after mine? Also, when the FP appt letter is sent, will it say online that it has been mailed to me? I don't see any answers to this question. I am in Detroit, MI. I see some people get their FP appt letter really fast, It has been 2 months and I haven't gotten anything. I am really anxious to get my EAD and I am starting to worry. Do I have to get my biometrics done before my I-765 and be approved? I am waiting for my appt letter for FP's but after 64 days, I haven't gotten anything. Please Help, anyone out there in a similar situation? Will the FP appt letter come by the time 90 days are up?

I am in the same situation as you. No need to worry or call them, will not help. Just be patient.
 
My rD is november 17 and my ND date is nov 23. I did receive a fingerprint notice..my appt was for dec 16. After that i got a rfe for the medical on dec 9. which i just sent yesterday. I haven't had any other update on travel documents or the EAD. Its been a month since i did my fingerprinting.
 
I have a ND close to yours and recently received my FP appointment notice. There has been no update of my cases online to indicate that the FP appointment notice was sent out. Therefore it's unlikely that your's has been sent in the mail and has got lost (which was what I was beginning to think); it's just taking time.

Thanks for the info guys. Just curious, has anyone had their 90 days go by and not hear anything at all? Has anyone gone 3 months without getting their FP appt letter or any further info?
 
I am from Detroit too. I've applied for 485/130/765 on 08-25-2005 (RD) and no information until today.

I've got my iEAD from DO last December .. that's it

Wow 5 months and no information at all? That worries me, is there anything unique to your case? Did you file for advance parole? Hmm, I wonder if after next month I should go get an iEAD. Tell me, how can I get it in the Detroit Area? Where do I go? And what does it cost? How long is it good for? Anyone else here from Detroit have their I-765 take so long?
 
Nothing unique. H1B married to USC. Filed all application to Chicago lock box. I didn't file for AP and I am hoping to get GC before my next vacation trip.

You need to take an Infopass appointment after 90 days to go to the DO. No cash needed. The website will tell you what to bring, where to go etc. Mine is valid for only 3 months.
 
My RD is 10/20/2005 and ND is 10/25/2005. My paralegal told me that I will receive my AN for FP/biometrics within 3 weeks but received the RFE (I-485) instead. So after almost 2months of waiting I've decide to call USCIS and ask about my FP. They told me that I should wait for the schedule bec. that time they were processing Oct3,2005. But after a week, I received my AN for FP (I-485) and AN for FP (I-765) the day after. I don't know if it's just a coincidence that I called them the same day they printed my AN for FP... The thing is even after they sent out my 2 ANs, the online status for my I-485 and I-765 weren't updated. They only updated them the day I had my FP 01/04/2006.

Good for you I am still waiting for my FP letter. When is your appt for? Where is your DO? I am in Detroit, MI My Receipt Notice Date is November 15, 2005. I hope soon I will get my FP letter, I am in desperate need of my EAD.
 
my FP appointment is Feb 7,

but I will walk in on Jan 24, I am in Missouri, only 20 mins to Lee's Summit, maybe that was why I got it b4 you :)
 
I'm F-1 married to USC. My RD is 11/7/05. No ND, no FP so far. I went to Washington, DC district office. Apparently my I-765 was approved on 1/7/06, so the officer gave me FP app. I just did my FP this morning. I have been checking the uscis.gov website case status, and it has been saying my application has been received for the last 2.5 months. If you really want to check on your case status, make infopass appt and go to your DO.

I'm gonna go make my Infopass to figure this out.
 
Got FP and bio done

I had an infopass today and had FP/Bio done. At first they didn't allow it since I didn't bring my flight ticket ( i am leaving tomorrow so I can not come in at the scheduled FP time). So I had to leave and drove to a library to print out my flight ticket. When I came back with the ticket, they let me in and the whole process only took 15 mins. Now I do not have anything to worry about. Good luck to all you guys too.
 
NBC Processing update

The processing dates for NBC just got updated.

They are working on I765 dated 10/17/05. :(

:confused: I'm also in the same boat no signs of FP yest after 5 months. my DO is washington DC. I applied 485/130/765/131 RD 25-AUG-2005. Got my AP on Jan 10th. but still no news about Biometric appt. I have taken infopass appointmnet for 1st of Feb for Interim EAD
 
Infopass problem

Has anyone figured out the Infopass yet?

I have been trying for 3 days and it kept saying "currently there is no information appointments available for your area", although i indicated the purpose of the appointment as I765 passing 90 days.

This is such a frustrating process... :(

Called the 1800 number to speak to a customer service officer on this problem, but was told that online Infopass is the only way to make an appointment.

Back to knocking on Infopass door..... :confused:
 
I am on the same boat--no FP after 120 days of I-485 filing

I filed my I-485 on Sept. 23, 2005. Four months (120 days) has passed, but I haven't got FP notice yet. I don't know what to do.

You guys mentioned about Infopass appointment? Where is the web site or what's the number to call?
