I received the actual plastic card today. However, it is NOT backdated(double checked it). I saw other complaining about this not backdated and some one suggest file I-90 to correct it.
Where should I file I-90? Local INS office or NSC? I received card from NSC. Does anyon file I-90 and get
corrected backdate?
BTW, It seems that the card need to be send back to INS to get process. Can you share some inf if you have same experience?

My time line:

Per your time line, you did your 2 FP in May 2005, and you already received the GC, can you give little more details & dates about approval date, stamp date etc.

Hi noocar,

I had had the same problem. I made an InfoPass appointment to file an I-90. The immigration officer I talked to upon submitting the form, told me that it was a typo (in my case), for the system showed that my card was backdtaed.

She attached my GC to the application and asked whether I had a passport to stamp. I decided not to have my expired passport stamped, though.

My husband has received his GC via mail. It is not backdated. But there is a note (in a letter) about applying for the citizenship: different categories of the GC holders have different term to apply for the citizenship. Does somebody have a link where I can see in written that GC holder with Asylum based adjustment has right to apply for the citizenship in 4 years from the I-485 approval. If so we do not have to file I-90 but wait for 4 years and apply for citizenship.

Does somebody know if Russia accepts RTD?

Yes, Russia does accept RTDs, but you'll have to get a visa regardless if you are a citizen of one of the former Soviet Union countries (I guess I am right according to your nickname :))
