Hi Asylum Seekers around US.
Back in couple weeks ago. I mailed a letter and attached my father's medical problem to expedite my asylum decision in Asylum Office Anaheim. Yes in a week I got respond by phone and its from Supervisory Asylum Officer Clerk.
He's asked me whats going on and what exactly what I want.(Voicemail, because I missed the call) and after i called him back and got the answer. My previous officer was retired and nobody taking over my case. he asked me to do another fingerprint in El Monte and i did. after that i do follow up phone to the clerk and He said, theres no officer want take over my case because they too busy but the clerk said nothing impossible he gonna help me. by the time i cant do nothing only wait AGAIN, he gave me his email to follow up and just call him back to track my case. :(

what can i do now?

Wait for a while "about 2 months" and if there is no updates, email him back and send another mail to the asylum office.

Thank you for your advice.
Since he also said everything I need to update like documents or anything else just email him. Its necessary to mail asylum office again?

I think the officer really wants to help you. So, I think YOU should also help him by giving him some time to work on the case. Like he said, they are all very busy. So like someone else pointed out above, I think you should just like 2 months and send him an email to tell him that "I know you are very busy but I am just following up on my request for expedite case."
If he does not reply, call him a week later. If he does not reply, send again a letter to the asylum office saying that you are still waiting on your request.
Good luck.
