I am a normal/standard NVC case and was browsing the site. This site is really very informative and helpful for immigration guys (even after getting the GC.this site serves as a torch and throws light on smallest issues !!!)
I have a situation as expalined below and would highly appreciate if the guru's can guide me.
I was in the US with Company "U Inc,US" for 2 years from 1999,2000 and than returned to India and joined Company "I Ltd,India" from 2001,2002,2003,till date. In 2000, "U" had applied for my GC (EB3) and now my CP -Mumbai interview in August 2004. Both U and I are sister concerns.
My problem is, after returning in 2000, my company U/I was not able to find me any assignment in the US till today.
Would it be a problem if I do the following:
1-cp-interview over
2-go to US so that POE is done
3-return to india WIH THE REASON THAT "U" HAS SOME ASSIGNMENT/PROJECT IN INDIA WITH "I"
4-STAY WITH "I" FOR SIX MONTHS AND THAN RESIGN FROM I TO GET A NEW JOB IN USA.
can step 1 to 4 above suffice to the six months sticking to the sponsoring company rule?
Thanks in advance
