There ARE approvals although people don't update their info. on rupnet promptly. Besides, this week is not over yet.
I would hope to see all 2001 filers get approved soon. I would also hope that INS will process all future cases in less than 6 months. Optimistically, they should process I-485 cases in less than three months (it used to be the case years ago). I would imagine the actual time (man-hours) they spend on each case would not be more than 3 days! With all bureaucracy eliminated a case can be processed in 3 months easily. They drag the process so long because their inefficiency!
