Posted earlier last week that my 485 got approved on Apr 11 2003.. ( looks like i celebrated too early..) STILL WAITING FOR MY APPROVAL NOTICE.
Message says..

"This case has been approved. On April 11, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address....."

I changed my address in the month of Nov 2002. Did filed AR-11 and also my attorney informored INS about new address..

Even my attorney did not recieved Approval notice. I tried to call California serive center phone line is busy ALWAYS.

Any comments on whats happenings..why this much delay in receiving approval notice, Anyone had similiar experience. ??

BTW, whats the best time to reach CSC people ?

Thanks,

Ask your lawyer to contact BCIS

Lawyers usually have equipment to automatically redial untill the call connects.
You can also do it in parallel. Only way is to try untill you get them, there is no quick fix or a particular time. Try early in the day, try late and try in the middle. Keep redialing....I had to do it several hundred times before I got the ring and then wait for an hour or more for the IIO to answer and talk for 20 secs, may be.

Its unusual, nowadays approval letters are arriving within 2-3 days of status change.

I got my AP notice in 16 days after my case was approved. I found they mailed it in 14 days according post stamp. Perhaps you are in the same boat.

I am pretty sure your approval notice went to your old address. It is one of the most challanging task to get your address updated in all the (apparently disconnected ) computers systems of INS.

wait for another week or so , but normally your lawyer will also get informed by INS. SO chances are very less that they have posted approval letter to your old address. Meanwhile take a print out of approval message from web itslef and keep it with you.

I got my AP approval after 16 days. My attorney got a copy too. 2 to 3 weeks is normal. Just hang in there for another week.
