No Approval Notice yet

Hi,
It has been more than 10 days since I recieved approval email but havent received the approval notice yet. My Infopass appointment is scheduled on friday. What should I do if I dont receive the notice by then? Can I still go for stamping with the infopass schedule sheet and a copy of my email approval?
Will they accept it? Please advice on this.

If I were you, I would try to use the email approval.

I see some posts that they got their passport stamped without the offical approval. As long as INS officer can find your approval information from their internal database, it should be fine.

BUT, if you are not lucky, or the officer is not nice, you have to go there again.

Same here its 11 days and not yet received

Mine is 11 days and its not yet received tru postal mail. My last luck is to try and get hold of my attorney who would receive the original copy. I would be giving it a shot without the approval notice even before lets see how it goes.

JDR and other's who did stamping without approval notice please post your experience.
 
strange message after enquiry

i called the national customer service number yesterday adn was told to call again only after 14 days have passed. Now, i got this strange email today.


"On May 11, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or
registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.
"

What does this mean? is it just a change of status due to enquiry or does it mean that another document has been mailed. dont know what to make of it. will still try tomorrow with email copy of approval for stamping...let us see what happens..
any input is appreciated.
looks like we have to struggle even at the last minute for this dreaded GC...........
