No appoitment for FP in Los Angeles???

I just got my I-797C NoA , code 3 and 2 from Chicago.
I applied for my GC trought my wife USC.
My application I-765 and I-485 was aproved, but I was calling for a week to the Application Support Center to get my fingerprint and biometrics done with out any positive result.
They said that for teh moment, there are not authorization from INS to give appoiments.
There some one who can help me or give me some advice with this or share same experience???
I'm in LA , but I sent all the package to Chicago on 06/01/05.

Even you sent your package to the Chicago Lockbox, your FP& Bio appointment are made to your ASC within your zip code, means near you, of course you can try others ASC if you want to travel.

My experience call as early as 7.59am time of the National Customer Service, since you are in a LA.

The part that I don't understand is that you said that you have your I-765/I-485 approved? if you just received your NOA's doesn't mean that your application is approved, it means that they received your application. Check out what it says in the back of your receipts.

I had the same problem but eventually I called @7.59am and got an appointment 45 days away.just keep trying I almost gave up but there is no way out!
